The School Building Committee, as required by the MSBA and School Committee policy, will oversee design and construction of the School buildings.
The Town Manager will oversee design and construction of the Town buildings.
As we ready for Town Meeting, the Town will be presenting information every day on different warrant articles.
Article 8: Accept donation of land – Academy Road Property
In 2015, through Community Preservation Funding the Town purchased a Conservation Restriction on three parcels from Center Realty Trust, including the parcel next to the First Parish Church. It has been a joint goal of Center Realty Trust and members of the CPC to increase access to the parcel, which is currently inaccessible. CRT has offered to gift the parcel to the Town so that the Town could create the access. At Town Meeting, authority would be granted to the Select Board to accept the donation as long as the two parties agreed on terms.
