Beneficiary Travel Self-Service System (BTSSS), the @DeptVetAffairs’ new online portal to submit travel claims

The Department of Veterans Affairs is now using the Beneficiary Travel Self-Service System (BTSSS) to reimburse eligible Veterans and beneficiaries for travel to and from approved health care appointments.  Find out if you’re eligible, and how to request reimbursement by visiting:  https://www.va.gov/health-care/get-reimbursed-for-travel-pay/

Job Opportunity from @MassDOER: Merrimack Valley Clean Energy Program and Outreach Manager

DOER has posted a new position, the Clean Energy Program and Outreach Manager within the Energy Efficiency Division.

 

This new role will manage programs and stakeholder outreach in connection with the Merrimack Valley Renewal Fund, which was set up in response to the Columbia Gas explosions in Lawrence, Andover, and North Andover. 

DOER is seeking an individual with interest in community-driven outreach and program design who will conduct targeted outreach to residents, public housing authorities, subsidized affordable housing developments, and businesses of Andover, North Andover, and Lawrence. Candidates who speak Spanish and have familiarity with community organizations in the Merrimack Valley are encouraged to apply.  Apply here.

 

REMINDER: Upcoming Road Work

Starting Monday June 28, 2021 and continuing through the week, the Town's contractor, PJ Albert, will be starting the reconstruction of Bradford Street, weather permitting.  Between the hours of 7 am and 4 pm Bradford Street will be closed from Barker Street to Great Pond Road to allow for the removal, reconstructing, and repaving of the roadway.  Delays should be anticipated if travelling in this area.  Residents should seek alternate routes.

In addition, next week the following streets are also scheduled to be repaved (weather permitting):

–  Berkeley Road
–  Foss Road
–  Tolland Road
–  Beacon Hill Boulevard (from Osgood Street to Chickering Road)

Delays should be anticipated if traveling in these areas.
