Learn about @Smart911 Safety Profile enhancements, now with new fields to better serve individuals with mental health and cognitive conditions. @RaveMSafety

Smart911 is a free service available in North Andover that allows individuals and families to share any information they want 9-1-1 call takers and first responders to have in the event of an emergency. When an individual calls 9-1-1, their Safety Profile is automatically displayed to the 9-1-1 call taker.  This key information can include addresses, medical information, home information, description of pets and vehicles, and emergency contacts.

Smart911 Safety Profiles has made enhancements adding new fields to better serve homeless, and transient populations and individuals with mental health and cognitive conditions.  Although there has always been an option for individuals to identify neurological, behavioral, and cognitive conditions, the new enhancements allow for better descriptions and details of these conditions and behaviors.  Also, residents no longer need to provide a permanent residence or address to sign up.  Now individuals can specify the area of town where they can be located, making Smart911 more accessible to all.
