The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is Still Accepting New Applications!

A reminder: All small businesses (including independent contractors, sole proprietors, and 501(c)(3) non-profits) are encouraged to apply for the federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), which is still accepting applications!  Help is available to prepare for your application (click here for PPP Application).  The Town of North Andover is part of a coalition of partners across the Merrimack Valley, including municipalities, banks, and non-profits, that are working together to assist small businesses that were left out of the first round get into the PPP pipeline. 

Through a new relationship between Mill Cities Community Investments (MCCI)Reading Cooperative Bank, and Berkshire Bank, businesses that were not able to submit applications in the first round can now be prioritized, but businesses should act fast!  Since the formation of this partnership, MCCI has been successful in getting 80% of the applications it has assisted approved!

It is estimated ballots could take up to three weeks between receipt of your application and the time for you to return it if you are using the postal service. One $0.50 stamp will cover the postage.  The deadline to return the ballot is 8 PM Election Day – Tuesday, June 2nd. Although the deadline to request a ballot is noontime Monday, June 1st, at this time there is no in person absentee or early voting.  Download application here and scan / email it to or drop off in the Town Hall Business Mailbox located in front of Town Hall for quicker service.
