As we ready for Town Meeting on May 16, 2023, the Town will be presenting information every day on different warrant articles.

Article 7: Acceptance of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 59 Section 5, Clause 41D

Passage of this local option would allow the town to increase the annual income and asset limits to any of the qualifying Clause 41 exemptions, which is mainly clauses for Senior Citizen property tax exemptions.  This would allow a $500 credit toward the qualifying Senior Citizen’s annual real estate taxes.
