Article 11: Citizen Petition-Petition General Court-Special Act-Change in Liquor Quota-All Alcoholic Beverages for Package Stores-Mokunj, LLC

Article 11 is a citizen petition requesting that the Town petition the state legislature for an increase in liquor licenses.  Currently the Town has no available all alcoholic beverage licenses for a package store.  This request would increase the quota by one and the license would have to be used at 550 Turnpike Street.  The Town’s quota for all alcohol licenses is 6, and determined by population.  For more information on liquor licenses please click here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BGDEXfYs3V6mOBqq3bq4Ltrx2s1u-48H/view

Today is the last day to register to vote for the Annual Town Meeting on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.   The Town Clerk's Office will be open until 8:00pm or you can log onto http://www.registertovotema.com/ and register online with a valid MA driver’s license.

Article 10 Citizen Petition- Petition General Court- Age Exemption- Marcel Cuffy

Article 12 Citizen Petition-Petition General Court- Age Exemption- John R. Baker

Articles 10 and 12 are citizen petitions requesting the Town to petition the state legislature to allow Marcel Cuffy (Article 10) and John R. Baker (Article 12) to be allowed to be placed on a hire list for the North Andover Fire Department despite taking the examination after reaching their 32nd birth date.  Fire Department hiring is dictated by Massachusetts Civil Service laws.
