North Andover residents are encouraged to join us for an engaging virtual session on the community and region’s current housing status. Learn about and discuss what work is underway to tackle housing challenges on the local level, as well as the tools and strategies that can be used to create additional housing opportunities in North Andover. This session is part of a series of engagement opportunities across the region to help inform local Housing Production Plan (HPP) updates and advance the conversation on housing in each community. Participants will be able to learn alongside residents of Amesbury, Andover, Groveland, Newburyport, and Salisbury, followed by community-specific discussions where your observations, ideas, and vision for the future of housing will be shared.

Storm Safety Tips

With the forecast of heavy thunderstorms for this evening, and the past storm over the weekend, the Town of North Andover would like to remind residents to use care during storms. We recommend the following:

Do not drive through standing or running water
Stay clear of downed wires and limbs
Charge your devices
In the event of a power outage gather your medications, have flashlights handy
If any electrical devices make contact with water (outlets low to the ground, consider them live) stay clear and call 911
If you smell gas call 911
In the event of an emergency call 911
If you have flooded in the past, consider acquiring sandbags from a store
Check sump pumps to make sure they are operating and clear any drains on your property

Upcoming Road Construction

September 12, 2023 Sarah Brush

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, September 13, 2023, the Town's contractor, PJ Albert, will be starting the reconstruction of sections of the following roads: Norman Road, Buckingham Road, Herrick Road, Chapin Road, Silsbee Road, Edmands Road, Young Road and Saltonstall Road. Pavement milling will be completed over the next few days and raised castings should be expected. Delays should be anticipated if travelling in these areas.
