NA Smart 911 Alert: Storm Update, 9/11/23
Dear Neighbors,
Thank you for your continued patience as we clean up from the storm.
The Town is in constant contact with National Grid. There are still approximately 700 residences without power.
Please continue to use caution when traveling in town. National Grid crews are throughout the community and the Town is actively working to remove downed public shade trees from the right of way. Any private trees that have fallen into the right of way will be removed up to the property line. Please do not bring brush/tree debris to the curb as the Town can not be picking up private property debris. Thank you for helping us to keep sidewalks safe for pedestrians.
The Cyr Center on Sharpners Pond Road will be open Monday-Saturday through 9/23/23 and residents may bring debris at no charge.
Burning is not yet allowed and burning season does not begin until January 1. A permit is required for burning.
The Red Cross shelter located at the new senior center is still open. The library is open. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out at townmanager@northandoverma.gov.
Stay safe,
Melissa
