Merrimack Valley Renewal Fund (MVRF) Small Business Program
The MVRF Small Business Program builds on the Mass Save® program to provide eligible small businesses and nonprofit organizations in Lawrence, Andover, and North Andover with enhanced support for energy efficiency improvements, electrification, and barrier mitigation. The program is designed to reduce energy costs, improve building performance, and help overcome barriers that may prevent participation in Mass Save.
How the Program Works:
1. Schedule a Mass Save Small Business Energy Assessment
A no-cost Home Energy Assessment (HEA) helps identify opportunities to improve your building's energy performance.
2. Receive Customized Recommendations
Mass Save identifies eligible energy efficiency improvements and available incentives.
3. Develop Your Project
Work with participating contractors to define the scope of work and project costs.
4. Access MVRF Enhanced Support
The MVRF Small Business Program may provide additional funding for eligible measures or barriers not fully covered through Mass Save.
5. Complete the Project
Install approved energy efficiency, electrification, and barrier mitigation measures.
6. Quality Assurance (QA/QC)
Completed work is inspected to ensure installations meet program quality standards.
