Dear Neighbors,
Thank you for your continued patience as we have worked through this significant weather event.
I know that you all share my frustration as we have continued to be negatively affected by multiple weather events over the past month. I’d like to recognize our amazing DPW, Police, Fire, Dispatch and Town employees who have been working around the clock to keep us all safe.
We are actively working with National Grid and our partners at the state to have power restored to the Town. We expect more power to be restored today, but do expect some isolated continued outages. The Town sustained significant damage to our systems and our trees, and restoration in this instance is a long process.
The Red Cross Shelter at the new senior center located at 481 Sutton Street is still open. Please visit for a snack, to charge, to cool off, or to stay the night.
Additional information about school will be shared as soon as possible.
The tree clean up will take a few days, and we will share more information on that tomorrow.
We appreciate your patience during this difficult time. If you need anything please reach out at townmanager@northandoverma.gov or by calling dispatch.
Best,
Melissa
