Join us for the Route 125 Corridor Study Public Meeting on June 22nd

The Town of North Andover is working with Nitsch Engineering and Innes Associates to conduct a study of the Route 125 Corridor between Sutton Street and the Haverhill city line. We have received great ideas from the public on transportation, infrastructure, and zoning in the area, which have been used to guide the study. 

Join us for a virtual meeting where the project team will present initial findings from the study and discuss concepts for how the corridor might develop in the future. The public meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 22nd at 6pm.

This project is an excellent opportunity to develop a vision for the future of a key corridor in town, where people live, work, shop, and travel through.We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!

Read the New Downtown Improvement Master Plan

In 2019, the Town of North Andover contracted with BETA, Inc to develop a Downtown Improvement Master Plan. Pursuing this plan was identified as a strategy in the 2018 community Master Plan and would help to guide the Town towards achieving numerous other strategies laid out in the 2018 Master Plan. 

Across three public meetings (one in-person and two virtual), the project team collected substantial public input that informed conceptual designs for downtown North Andover. These designs present a vision for the future of downtown that incorporates walkability, traffic safety, aesthetics, and welcoming, vibrant public spaces. 

As we look ahead to the next steps in achieving this vision that was developed collaboratively with many stakeholders, the Town is pleased to present the completed Downtown Improvement Master Plan, which can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Y0IL5Tx5LKt6y2KL_xEC-Afwq_ExWCHM/view?usp=sharing

Annual Town Meeting is TODAY, June 17, 2021 at 6:00 PM ~ Know Before You Go: Parking and Traffic Management

Annual Town Meeting is Thursday, June 17, 2021, 6:00 PM on the football field of the Joe Walsh Stadium at North Andover High School.  

Please be aware that parking and traffic management at North Andover Town Meeting affords several options for residents attending and we ask you to make a plan.  Parking is reserved exclusively for Town Meeting attendees in the south parking lot of North Andover High School (the front main entrance where election day voting parking takes place).  An expanded area for the physically challenged is also reserved for attendees.  The Fire Chief is allowing fire lane parking on the right hand side of the entrance roadway only. On street parking is also available around the High School.  Shuttle bus services for satellite parking at North Andover Middle School will be operating prior to and throughout Town Meeting.  The North Andover Police will be enforcing traffic management and electronic signs boards will provide updated information.   We encourage those attending Town Meeting to arrive early.  Check in starts at 5:00PM and the meeting will commence on time at 6:00PM.

Popup vaccine clinic to be held at Town Meeting on Thursday June 17th

The Town’s Director of Health and  the Town Moderator have arranged for a popup vaccine clinic to be held at Town Meeting on Thursday June 17th.   Run by the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC), vaccines will be available for all residents age 12 and older.  The GLFHC offers a $5 reward card to Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks or Market Basket to anyone who wishes to just discuss vaccination.  A $25 reward card will be given to any person receiving a vaccination. The mobile vaccine clinic is open to all from 2:00PM to 6:00PM in front of the main entrance of North Andover High School.
