New Small Business Support Programs

The collective work of the Merrimack Valley Small Business Support Coalition continues to develop and deliver new programs and services for businesses as they navigate this unique moment. With coordination from the Essex County Community Foundation and the Lawrence Partnership, this coalition brings together non-profits, regional and state leaders, and municipalities (including the Town of North Andover) working around a shared strategy to support recovery and resiliency in Lawrence, Andover and North Andover. Food-based business workshops and consulting services:

Food business experts ReThink Restaurants are hosting workshops on Thursday, 12/3, titled Proactive, not Reactive: Surviving a Covid-winter. The workshops will also be opportunities for interested businesses to sign up for additional, customized support for their business.
Spanish language workshop
from 3:30 to 5pm.
English language workshop from 1:30 to 3:00 pm
Enterprise Center Kicks Off 2 New Programs:

Latino Business Recovery Program
Targeted business grant program
Amplify Latinx, the Enterprise Center and Surfside Capital Advisors,team up to offer the Latino Business Recovery Program, a pilot Spanish and English language business recovery and capital readiness program for 10-12 Latinx main streets businesses (restaurants, retailers, bodegas, barber shops, etc.) that need support with pivoting and digital transformation to sustain the business.
Businesses can access up to 20 hours of immediate, self- selected, personalized consulting services and extended peer group advisory support. This is a great way to get a new website built (for free), navigate HR decisions (for free), launch a new marketing campaign (for free), or just about any other customized need you might have provided by other local businesses and experts.
