Dear Community Members,
We are happy to announce that our Town and School technology systems are up and running.
On Sunday, the Town suffered a failure of our core switch, which is the backbone of our entire system.
Information Technology staff and our consultant, E-Plus, responded immediately and worked around the clock to install a new switch in a record amount of time and to troubleshoot any remaining issues. The Town was scheduled to complete a switch upgrade this fall, and was able to act quickly due to our commitment to routine maintenance of our equipment. Due to that prior planning, we had all necessary equipment on hand.
Due to their quick action, we were able to continue operations as seamlessly as possible and we are thankful to have such a great team at the Town and Schools.
