Please be reminded that it is recommended that all travelers arriving to Massachusetts – including Massachusetts residents returning home – self-quarantine for 14 days, with the exemption of travelers from Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, and New Jersey.

Council on Aging Vacancy: The Board of Selectmen is seeking a 2 volunteers interested in serving on the Council on Aging

The Board of Selectmen is looking to fill two vacancies on the Council on Aging. The Council on Aging advocates on behalf of North Andover citizens as it pertains to programs, events, activities and services designed to meet the needs of the elderly in coordination with the Elder Services Department.

Community Preservation Committee Vacancy: The Board of Selectmen is seeking a volunteer interested in serving on the Community Preservation Committee

The Board of Selectmen is looking to fill a vacancy on the Community Preservation Committee. The Community Preservation Committee was established by Town Meeting pursuant to Mass. General Law, chapter 44B. The duties of the Community Preservation Committee are to study the needs, possibilities and resources of the town regarding community preservation and to make recommendations to Town Meeting for the acquisition, creation and preservation of open space, for the acquisition and preservation of historical resources, for the acquisition, creation and preservation of land for recreational use, and for the creation, preservation and support of community housing. 

The Committee typically meets at 7:00PM on the 2nd Thursday of the month from September through June.
