Join us for a community effort to keep North Andover’s beloved water source clean and beautiful. With the lake level currently low, now is the perfect time to get out there and pick up more trash and litter that would normally be harder to reach!

Volunteers will be walking the shoreline to collect trash and litter. Permitted boat owners are encouraged to participate in the clean up using their boats to collect trash along the lakeshore.

Gloves, trash bags, trash grabber tools, collection and light refreshments will be provided.

Reminder: September 11 Ceremonies

There are two ceremonies happening tomorrow, September 11, 2026:

9am – North Andover Fire Department's 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony (NAFD Station 2 – 9 Salem Street)

11am – Memorial Dedication Ceremony for the Late 20th Century Conflicts & Global War on Terror Memorial  (Patriots Park – 345 Main Street). For this ceremony, there will be a shuttle available form the from the North Andover VFW Post 2104 to Patriots Memorial Park starting at 10:15.

Join us for the Memorial Dedication Ceremony of the Late 20th Century Conflicts & Global War on Terror Memorial on September 11, 2026 at 11:00am.

There will be a shuttle available form the from the North Andover VFW Post 2104 to Patriots Memorial Park starting at 10:15 on Friday.

Outdoor Water Conservation

Due to the current low water level of Lake Cochichewick, the North Andover Water Department will be initiating outdoor water use restrictions in accordance with Town Bylaw, Chapter 185 such that all non-essential outdoor water use is prohibited.  This includes outdoor spray irrigation systems, outdoor washing of vehicles and filling of swimming pools.  These restriction will be in place until such time that the Lake level recovers to normal level.
