In September, we welcomed North Andover’s Class of 2038 into kindergarten. What will the world be like when today’s students graduate from our high school? What do we need to do today to prepare our students for that near future? How can North Andover continually improve and ensure a high-quality experience for every student? These three questions are the driving force behind North Andover’s comprehensive strategic planning initiative. Through the upcoming Strategic Planning process, the North Andover Public Schools intends to:
Engage with the North Andover Community
Create and affirm clear core values, mission, and vision statements for our schools
Establish action plans with strategic objectives and initiatives to realize the mission and vision
Focus on continuous improvement and systemic renewal
To complete our Strategic Plan, North Andover has partnered with Teaching and Learning Alliance, Inc. (TLA) to facilitate our process. The first phase of North Andover’s Strategic Planning process will involve a series of Focus Groups facilitated by TLA, in which participants will have the opportunity to share their perspectives on North Andover’s strengths, challenges and opportunities as we look toward the future.
The quality of our Strategic Plan will be directly related to the quality of feedback and participation in these Focus Groups. At this time, North Andover is seeking volunteers from various stakeholder groups to participate in one of these Focus Groups with the TLA team. Please consider joining one of the following opportunities to share your voice and contribute to our next Strategic Plan, ensuring that North Andover residents benefit from our programs and services for years to come.

If you are unable to attend a Focus Group, please note that a digital survey will be forthcoming to provide you with another opportunity to share your feedback regarding North Andover Public Schools. Please consider joining us in structuring an even better tomorrow for our students.
Thank you. Pamela Lathrop Superintendent of Schools
