Paving is scheduled for the intersection of Hillside Road at Bucklin Roadd for Tuesday, January 13. The intersection will be completely blocked, preventing thruway traffic between Rte 125 and Chestnut Green in both directions.
Due to the increased flu activity in the community, the North Andover Health Department will be hosting a flu clinic on January 20, 2026. Flu vaccinations are also available by appointment at the Health Department; please call 978-688-9543 to schedule a visit.
The deadline to submit an application for Community Preservation Committee projects is Friday, January 30th.
Each year at Town Meeting, the CPC makes recommendations to fund projects in the following categories:
● Affordable Housing
● Historic Preservation
● Preservation of Open Space
● Recreation
Over the last 20+ years, North Andover taxpayers have funded more than $40 Million in projects throughout the community, including more than $12 Million in State Matching Funds.
Funding for Community Preservation Committee projects is provided through a local tax surcharge and matching funds from the state. The public, Town government, and local organizations help determine how this funding is spent by proposing local projects that help to preserve community heritage, protect local resources, and foster the development of new resources. Each year the North Andover Community Preservation Committee offers funding for projects related to open space, historic preservation, recreation, and affordable housing. The Committee makes recommendations to Town Meeting, which votes on the funding.
The Community Preservation Committee grant application packet can be accessed on the CPC website, or by clicking this link. Applications may be submitted to the Committee at cpcemails@northandoverma.gov. After the January 30th deadline, each application will undergo a review process ahead of Town Meeting Day.
If you are interested in applying for funding, please verify that your proposed project is eligible. Learn more about project eligibility criteria here. For more information, visit the Community Preservation Committee web page, or direct questions to cpcemails@northandoverma.gov.
