The North Andover Fire Department is asking residents to help by clearing snow away from nearby fire hydrants to ensure they are accessible in the event of an emergency.

- Crews and equipment are ready to go once the snow starts.
- We ask that you limit vehicles on the road while plowing operations are ongoing.
- Anticipate parking ban on Sunday, Monday and into Tuesday

- Clear a path in the snow to direct water from houses.
- Clean storm drains in the street when possible.
- Charge cell phones.
- Make sure sump pumps are operating properly.

With the coming storm, the North Andover Fire Department asks residents and business owners to keep fire hydrants in mind when clearing snow. Having clear access to a hydrant at a building fire is an essential part of their ability to extinguish a fire quickly. Please clear your nearest fire hydrant to keep you and your neighbors safe!
