Tree Inventory and Management Plan Project

The Town’s Community Development and Conservation Departments have officially kicked off a Tree Inventory and Management Plan project with a contracted consultant, Davey Resource Group!  This project, which is called for in the Town's Master Plan, will result in an inventory of public shade trees in areas such as public parks, schools, playgrounds, and along rights-of-way in the downtown area.  Depending on where you are, you may see members of the consultant team out and about in their bright yellow or orange shirts inspecting trees and measuring their trunks during the next several weeks.

The consultants will be hard at work in the field, so if you have any questions or need additional information about this tree inventory effort, please contact Justine Fox, Conservation Field Inspector in the Conservation Department, at jfox@northandoverma.gov or 978-688-9530.
