2022 North Andover Santa Parade and Tree Lighting

North Andover Santa Parade

The North Andover Santa Parade will be on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Noon.  The parade starts at the North Andover Middle School and travels down Main Street, turns onto Elm Street, Water Street, and back onto Main Street, ending at Sutton Street.  The highlights this year, besides Santa, include a monster truck from EarthWorks, several youth sports leagues, and entertainment from several dance schools and musical groups!

Tree Lighting Festival

Due to the forecast of heavy rains and wind this upcoming Sunday, the Tree Lighting has been postponed until Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 4-7pm. There will be treats and entertainment, including caroling and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Message from Town Manager Melissa Rodrigues Regarding Trash Pick-Up

Dear Neighbors,

As you know, recently our trash company was acquired by another company, and has struggled with the transition.  As you have seen in the news, they also service most of our surrounding communities, and the issues appear to be regional in nature.

We have been working with the Trash Contractor in attempts to improve service, and continue to work toward rectifying these issues.
I share your frustrations, and have requested that Republic Services present the Town with a written plan documenting how they plan to improve collections in North Andover, comply with the terms of our contract and earn back community trust.  I look forward to receiving that plan, and will be sharing it with the community at the next Select Board meeting.
On behalf of the Town, I apologize for this inconvenience, and look forward to rectifying the issue.
All the best,
Melissa
