Launching the Metropolitan Transportation Planning Process


The Metropolitan Transportation Plan starts with a vision of what the transportation network will be in the future. It examines the existing transportation system from the perspectives of safe systems, access and mobility, equity, environmental sustainability, system preservation, and economic viability.  The plan will include goals, objectives, and strategies, as well as identify future projects to be funded and studies to be undertaken.
