Starting tomorrow, Wednesday June 15, 2022 and continuing through next week, the Town's contractor, PJ Albert, will be starting to mill the roadways within Contract 2 of the Columbia Gas Impacted Area, weather permitting. The roadways will have raised castings and residents should travel with care. Delays should be anticipated if travelling in this area. Residents should seek alternate routes.

“Beech Leaf Disease” (BLD) is being reported throughout the state. It is caused by an invasive nematode. The disease causes damage to a tree’s leaves, leading to reduced vigor and can eventually lead to tree mortality.
