🍁🍂 2021 Fall Leaf Collection Reminder 🍂🍁

To assist residents with fall clean-ups, the Town will be collecting leaf bags during the weeks of October 25th, November 1st, November 8th and November 15th.  The collection contractor will take leaves placed out in biodegradable bags during these four weeks.

  • Please have all bagged leaves (leaves only please) curbside at the beginning of those weeks as collection does not follow the trash/recycle schedule.
  • Leaves must be IN biodegradable paper bags ONLY.

If you have a 2021 Cyr Sticker for your vehicle, the CYR Center on Sharpners Pond RD remains open for dropping off yard waste during regular site hours:

8:00 am to 2:45 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays ONLY except Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 25th)
Please call the DPW with questions, 978-685-0950 option 2

We Want Your Input!- November 17th Complete Streets Participatory Workshop

In June 2021, the North Andover Select Board adopted a Complete Streets Policy, supporting safe and accessible street design for all modes of transportation. The Town has since contracted with TEC, Inc. to develop a Complete Streets Prioritization Plan. To develop this plan, the Town needs public input on which street improvements should be prioritized to accommodate pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicular traffic.
An in-person public meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 17th at 6:30 p.m. in the North Andover Senior Center behind Town Hall. Masks are required for this event. The public is welcome to RSVP to receive reminders and more information, but this is not mandatory. RSVP here: https://forms.gle/pJUhgbTyH6xK6Tz78
This event will include a brief presentation on how the Massachusetts Department of Transportation Complete Streets Funding Program works. The presentation will be followed by public input activities to identify problem areas on streets around town and devise solutions to be included in the Complete Streets Prioritization Plan. The public’s input makes a difference because the completed Prioritization Plan will make the Town eligible for funding to build the street improvements being proposed.
Join fellow residents and Town staff to make your voice heard! Learn more about North Andover’s Complete Streets efforts here: https://www.northandoverma.gov/planning/pages/complete-streets
Please reach out to Dan Beckley, Staff Planner, with any questions at dbeckley@northandoverma.gov. Thank you, we look forward to your participation.
