Good afternoon,
The Board of Elevator Regulations (“Board”) is mandated by M.G.L. c. 143, §69 to hold a public hearing for the purpose of allowing interested parties to submit proposals for altering the regulations governing elevator construction, operation, and inspection (524 CMR 1.00 to 38.00). Pursuant to this requirement, the Board is inviting interested members of the public to attend an open forum to provide input with regards to topics and possible changes the Board should consider in future regulatory amendments.

In addition to the public hearing itself, the Board welcomes the submission of written comments prior to the meeting, which can be sent by e-mail to: ruthy.barros@mass.gov.
