The recently adopted Master Plan proposed several strategies and goals related to improving the downtown infrastructure, aesthetics, connectivity, wayfinding, parking and visitation rates.  To address these strategies/goals, the Town has begun efforts to develop a Downtown Improvement Master Plan.  This plan aims to address improvements to vehicular and pedestrian circulation and safety as well as connectivity and aesthetics of the downtown. 

On January 22, 2020 a Public Meeting will be held to discuss revitalizing the downtown.  It is important that residents take part in the planning process because a Downtown Improvement Master Plan reflects the community’s vision for the future.  That vision starts and ends with resident input. 

I hope you will join us to participate in the first Public Meeting to discuss your thoughts and visions for an improved downtown area.  The meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 6:30pm in the High School Cafeteria located at 430 Osgood Street.
