Are you interested in working the elections? Attend the upcoming training session on January 28th, 2020!

Dear Election Worker,

2020 is going to be a busy election year in North Andover.  In order to prepare, there will be a mandatory training session scheduled for January 28, 2020 at 3:00 pm in the Board of Selectmen’s meeting room at Town Hall.  Please also mark your calendar for February 4, 2020 in case a backup date is needed for weather related issues. Should you know of anyone that may be interested in working North Andover’s elections, please feel free to invite them to this training.

Trudy Reid, our new Town Clerk will be hosting this training, and this would be a great opportunity to meet her as well as hear some changes she will have for the election process.

The election schedule for 2020 will be as follows:

Presidential Primary – Tuesday, March 3, 2020
Town Election – Tuesday, March 31, 2020
State Primary – September (date to be determined)
Presidential Election – Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

There may also be early voting late February for the March primary – we are anxiously waiting to hear confirmation from the State.  There will be opportunities during this time to assist in the Town Clerk’s office with early voting.

If you plan to attend the training session, please email your RSVP to townclerk@northandoverma.gov, or call the Town Clerk’s office at 978-688-9501.

We look forward to seeing many of you at this training.

Sincerely,

Laurie A. Burzlaff
Interim Town Clerk
