Any disturbance of vegetation, including the removal of trees within areas protected by the Wetland Protection Act or the North Andover Wetland Protection Bylaw must be approved by the Conservation Commission. Protected areas include wetland resource areas, 100-foot, 50-foot, and 25-foot buffer zones around these resource areas, and 200-foot wide Riverfront areas around perennial streams. Application procedures may vary widely depending upon the nature of the proposal. Please contact the Conservation Department for further direction at 978-688-9530.

– North Andover Annual Town Election Voter Registration Deadline

The Annual Town Election will be held on Tuesday, March 31, at the North Andover High School, 430 Osgood Street, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Residents who are not currently registered to vote must register by the voter registration deadline of Saturday, March 21, at 5:00 p.m.

Residents may register online at the Massachusetts Secretary website with a Massachusetts driver's license or ID number, at the Registry of Motor Vehicles, by mail, or in person.

The last date and hour residents can register to vote in person is Saturday, March 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m at North Andover Police Headquarters, 1475 Osgood St, North Andover.
