MassDOT Awards North Andover Complete Streets Grant

Last week MassDOT announced $5.54 Million in Complete Streets Funding Program awards to 16 communities around the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, including an award of $397,271 to the Town of North Andover to reconstruct the intersection of Chadwick, High, and Sutton Street.
The funded project will include realignment of High Street and Chadwick Street to create two (2) standard T-Intersections, provide new sidewalks with ADA-compliant ramps, create a new crosswalk at Columbia Road, and will entail restriping and repaving of the project area.
The Town thanks the MassDOT and the Baker-Polito Administration for funding this key project along a well traveled roadway in North Andover.  The Town will continue to work with its consultant TEC, Inc. on completion of a design for the project and oversight of its construction.

Mass Save Community First Partnership

The Town of North Andover is participating in the Community First Partnership offered by the Sponsors of Mass Save.  Along with Groundwork Lawrence, the Cities of Lawrence, Haverhill and Methuen, and the Town of Andover, we are working with Mass Save Sponsors, Eversource and National Grid, to provide cost-saving energy efficiency solutions to residents and small businesses in our communities.

If you feel your home or small business is too cold in the winter or too hot in the summer and you want to help your community go green, these programs can help.  Programs offered include no-cost home energy assessments, income eligible programs, high-efficiency heating and cooling upgrades, multi-family energy assessments, small business assessments, and more.

Together we can make our homes and businesses more comfortable while furthering our community's commitment to equity and sustainability.
