FY19 ROADS PROGRAM STREET PAVING SCHEDULE UPDATE

Peters Street and Mount Vernon Street – Paving is scheduled for tomorrow, October 23rd.  
Peters Street will be closed during the paving.  Access to adjacent business will be via Route 114.

Water-main work along Route 125 starting tonight (9/11)

As part of a new residential/commercial development at 1210 Osgood Street, lane closures will be in effect starting tonight along Route 125 (near Barker Street) for water connection work.  The work hours will be between 10 pm and 5 am and the project is scheduled to be completed within 3 nights.  Traffic will be able to proceed along the route, however delays should be expected.

Quail Run and Monteiro Way – Paving is scheduled for tomorrow, September 6th.
Boxford Street – Paving will be delayed due to traffic concerns.  We anticipate rescheduling the work for Saturday, September 22nd, weather dependent.

FY2019 ROADS PROGRAM – STREET PAVING SCHEDULE UPDATE

On Monday August 27th, Crews will be continuing with casting adjustments on Salem Street between Granville Lane and Pheasant Brook Road.  Lane closures and detour around Ingalls Street and Forest Street to Boxford Street will be in place.

Weather permitting, on Thursday (8/30) and Friday (8/31), paving will take place on portions of Boxford Street and Salem Street.  Lane closures and detours will also be in place.

GAS MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT – Night work Starting August 26th on Chickering Road (Route 125) at the Mass Ave, 9pm-5am.

Columbia Gas is continuing gas main replacement on Massachusetts Ave.  On Sunday night, August 26th, they will begin night work on Chickering Road (Route 125) at the Mass Ave. intersection.  The work is anticipated to last 2 nights, but is weather dependent.  Work hours will be 9pm to 5am.

NOTICE: Weather permitting – On Friday August 24th, the contractor will be installing pavement markings on Water Street and High Street. Traffic delays should be expected during the work.

Gas Main Replacement Project

COLUMBIA GAS – Night work Starting August 5th . Columbia Gas is continuing gas main replacement on Main Street and Park Street. On Sunday night, August 5th, they will begin night work on Chickering Road (Route 125) at the Main Street and Park Street intersections. The work is anticipated to last 5 nights, but is weather dependent. Work hours will be 8pm to 5am, except for a later start time on Tuesday the 7th due to the National Night Out activities.
