Overnight Line Striping, Main Street and School Street

As you may already be aware, the following roads are part of the gas restoration project and are scheduled for OVERNIGHT line striping work, weather permitting, tonight, September 15th:

    • Main Street: Sutton Street to Chickering Road
    • School Street: Main Street to Dead End

    A town representative will be on site during striping. We appreciate your understanding. For any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the engineering department. Thank you.

    Reminder: Stevens Street Closure

    As posted around town, starting Monday September 15th, Stevens Street between Pleasant Street and Harkaway Road will be closed for the next 2 months while we reconstruct the culvert and roadway. Detours will be in place and delays should be anticipated, especially traveling to/from school. We appreciate your understanding.     Upcoming Overnight Road Construction – Paving Work Expected to Begin the week of August 24th

    As you may already be aware, the following roads are part of the gas restoration project and are scheduled for OVERNIGHT construction work, weather permitting.

    • Main Street: Sutton Street to Chickering Road
    • School Street: Main Street to Dead End
    • Merrimack Street: Main Street to Water Street
    • Garden Street: Main Street to Dead End

    Overnight paving work is expected to begin the week of August 24th.

    Raised castings and traffic delays should be expected if travelling within these areas. A town representative will be on site during construction. We appreciate your understanding. For any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the engineering department. Thank you.

    Chickering Road Overpass to North Andover High School Closed 8/15 and 8/16

    The Chickering Road overpass to North Andover High School will be closed on Friday, August 15th and Saturday, August 16th for concrete repair. The overpass is scheduled to re-open on August 17th.

    Trash Update: July 28, 2025

    Currently, our contractor, Republic, is seriously delayed with the Friday RT 1 recovery for Trash Pick Up.

    Republic is out recovering the following areas: Salem Street, Sharpeners Pond, Equestrian, Laconia, Olympic Lane, and Crossbow neighborhoods.  If your address needs to be placed on the “missed list” please use the ReportIt system due to the nationwide phone system outage with Cisco:  https://www.northandoverma.gov/549/Report-a-Problem
