– Master Plan Monday

Master Plan Monday is back! Here are the latest project updates:

Kittredge: The Massachusetts School Building Authority approved the Project Scope and Budget at its meeting on February 25th. This allows the Town to move forward with funding approval at the May Town Meeting. The MSBA estimate for project reimbursement is 36.6%.

Fire Station 3: After reevaluating the needs of the Fire Department, it was determined that a 3rd station, rather than an addition/renovation at Station 2 would better meet the needs of the Town. The building is currently being designed and funding for the project will be on the Town Meeting Warrant for approval. Please visit the Facilities Master Plan website for more information.

Youth Center: The Town is in the process of hiring an Owner’s Project Manager. The design for the Youth Center addition will begin this summer.
