Trash & Recycling pick up will resume on Tuesday, February 24 with a one day delay. For example – Monday pick up will be on Tuesday, Friday will be recovered on Saturday. Please expect DELAYS. Recovery for the crews will be very slow going.
Please make recovery easier by adhering to the following:
– All trash and recycling needs to be curbside or at the top of driveway BEFORE 7:00 am
– Trash & Recycling cans and toters need to be as close to the curb or at the very end of driveway, whichever is closest to the road
– Do not put bags on the ground in between snowbanks, they will not be seen
– Do not put trash cans on top of snowbanks, they will not be recovered
– For better visibility, please put trash bags in garbage barrels especially if trash bags are white.
– If your trash/recycling has not been recovered AND it is after 5:00 pm please report the miss on REPORT IT,
your address will be added to a Google document which is shared with the Towns trash and recycling vendors.
– If you believe your residence has been missed DO NOT MOVE your barrels, if the contractor goes to recover and the barrels / toter is not out, they will not return
