Stevens Street Culvert & Roadway Rehabilitation Project

We wanted to make residents aware that during the reconstruction of the Stevens Street Culvert and Roadway, it is necessary for the Town to lower the water levels within both Stevens Pond and Mill Pond. This is only being done to help facilitate the construction and once construction is completed the boards will be reinstalled allowing the water levels to return to more normal levels after rain events.

In addition, this section of Stevens Street will be closed to through traffic for approximately the next 2 months for construction and detours have been setup. Residents should anticipate delays when traveling in this area. Thank you.
