As Memorial Day quickly approaches, The James L.Melvin American Legion Post is again coordinating remembrance activities for the men and women who have died while serving their country. This year has all the ingredients for a fine parade and ceremony. The parade will be in the East Boxford Village on Monday, May 26th at 9:30 A M.: We hope to have a large number of veterans leading the parade so mark the times on your calendar and plan to join us.
We will be attending church service at the Second Congregational Church in Boxford at ten o'clock on Sunday morning.. The schedule of our visits to local cemeteries is also included for your convenience. Let's have a good veteran presence at all remembrance ceremonies.
