This is a message from the Town of North Andover. The North Andover Fire Department, along with our mutual aid and state partners, have spent the day battling a brushfire near Sharpner’s Pond Road.  Operations will continue into next week, and residents should expect extensive smoke in that area.  We are asking hikers and walkers to avoid the area.  If you see flames near your home please call 911.  As a reminder there is a fire ban in town including fire pits.  Thank you to the North Andover Fire Department for their continued work to keep our community safe.
