Stevens Street Road Closure Notification | Monday and Tuesday, October 24-25, 2022

On Monday and Tuesday October 24-25, 2022, the Town’s contractor, Veteran Diving, will be diving to assess, photo, and clean out the two existing culverts that connect Stevens Pond and Mill Pond on Stevens Street, weather permitting.  During this time Stevens Street from Pleasant Street to Harkaway Road will be closed and traffic will be detoured.  Delays should be anticipated if travelling in this area.

Curbside Leaf Collection – Fall 2022

To assist residents with fall clean-ups, the Town will be collecting leaf bags during the weeks of October 31st, November 7th, November 14th and November 28th.  (Please note, there will be no leaf collection the week of Thanksgiving). The collection contractor will take leaves placed out in biodegradable bags during these four weeks. 

  • Please have all bagged leaves (leaves only please) curbside at the beginning of those weeks as collection does not follow the trash/recycle schedule.
  • Leaves must be IN biodegradable paper bags ONLY.

If you have a 2022 Cyr Sticker for your vehicle, the CYR Center on Sharpners Pond RD remains open for dropping off yard waste during regular site hours:   8:00 am to 2:45 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays ONLY except Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 24th)

Athletic Fields Master Plan Input Meeting

Please join the Town of North Andover and Gale Associates, Inc for a meeting regarding the Athletic Fields Master Plan.  The purpose of the Athletic Fields Master Plan is to evaluate the condition and use of the existing athletic fields in the town and propose improvements at these sites to enhance the town’s many athletic programs and outdoor venues. This meeting will give members of the public the opportunity to share their input on the condition, availability, and effectiveness of the town athletic fields in meeting the community’s needs.

  • Aplin Playground
  • North Andover High School
  • Carter Fields

Please Note: The NA RecPlex proposed at the middle school is not included in this project.
