80 years ago today, Chief James R. Aplin became North Andover's first casualty for World War II. James Aplin was killed in action aboard the U.S.S Arizona on December 7, 1941. Please join us as we remember Chief James R. Aplin and the others lost on this day. We honor their sacrifice and that of their families.
