Starting on January 24, 2022 and for the following 4 weeks Great Pond Road will be closed to through traffic and a permanent closure will be installed between house #1665 and house #1675 Great Pond Road 24 hours a day for the Great Pond Road Stabilization project.

The project involves the installation of approximately 300 linear feet of steel sheeting that will be driven 30 feet down along the shoreline of Lake Cochichewick to support the embankment and roadway along with some drainage work and some additional spot repairs where the shoreline has eroded.
