We are writing to inform you that we will be working in your neighborhood on Sunday, October 11th in order to make improvements to our electrical system.
For our crews to work safely, it will be necessary to interrupt your power for approximately 8 hours, beginning at 10:00pm until approximately 6:00am. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and recognize our customers are spending more time at home, but this work is necessary for the company to continue to deliver safe and reliable service to you and your neighbors.
The streets affected by this planned outage in the town(s) of N. Andover will include: Allen St, Bradstreet Rd, Bunker Hill St, Camden St, Chickering Rd, Clarendon St, Concord St, Court St, Davis St, Elm St, Elmcrest Rd, Franklin St, Greene St, Harkaway Rd, Lexington St, Lincoln St, Magnolia Dr, Main St, Mill Pond, Osgood St, Oxford St, Park St, Phillips Ct, Pleasant St, Princeton St, Russell St, Stevens St, Tavern Rd, Wiley Ct
In the event of inclement or extreme weather (above 90 degrees or below 20 degrees) or unexpected events on our system, our work will be rescheduled and performed instead on Monday, October 12th for the same time period. As you may already be aware, the following roads are part of the Annual Roads and Sidewalk Restoration Program and are scheduled for full-width road paving work, weather permitting, beginning Wednesday (October 7th), in the anticipated order of :
Cotuit Street: Chickering Road to Dead EndBrewster Street: Peters Street to Cotuit StreetIpswich Street: Cotuit Street to Harwich StreetWaverly Road: Turnpike Street to Delucia WayTraffic delays, detours and raised castings should be expected if travelling within these areas. A town representative will be on site during construction. We appreciate your understanding and patience. For any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the engineering department. We are excited to announce the return of the North Andover Adopt-a-Wreath program!
Celebrate the season by sponsoring a beautiful 4-foot, double-sided green wreath with a festive bow, displayed throughout Downtown Main Street, High Street Mills, and the Old Center. Each wreath includes a white sign recognizing the donor’s name, business, dedication, or in memoriam. (Tip: shorter text is easier to read!)
The cost for the wreath is $100. Payment can be made online through the application or by check payable to the Town of North Andover. Checks may be mailed to: North Andover Town Hall, Sarah Brush, 120 Main Street, North Andover, MA 01845.
Locations: Locations are first come, first served based on the choices provided. We cannot guarantee a specific pole or street location.

– Hazard Mitigation Plan
North Andover has completed a draft of our updated Hazard Mitigation Plan. We invite the public to review and comment on this municipal plan prior to finalization.
